Brief on how the book proceeds .. brief ..

Even though I was born in Guntur, AP and did my nursery schooling in Chennai, about 44 years back, rest of my education has been in Kerala. Being the fourth member of a medium sized family from central Travancore, Kerala and both  my parents being well educated and father employed in the State Bank of India, I was fortunate enough to get the best of education.

Starting from St. Teresa's school, Shoranur, St Pauls Kuriachira, Trichur, Don Bosco Irinjalakuda and Rajagiri Kalamassery, Ernakulam, I have many friends scattered all over Kerala.

In Kerala Catholic faith, Easaw or eeshaw, to be more precise, is how Jesus is referred to. but among Syrrian Christians from one of the oldest Christian settlements in Kerala, Chengannur, Easaw or Easow, is a common name, probably referring to the Biblical Isau of the Old Testament.. In fact, the name Easaw is so peculiar of Chengannur and Kozhenchery in Central Travancore, you can trace all the Easaws. Easows or Esows to either of these places. Also it was a novelty for young friends to jokingly tease us as Easaw, Mariam, Ousephe or Easaw Mashihaiku Sthuthiyaayirikatte. Being gifted in studies and singing, we enjoyed all those days and friends..

And to be very frank, we enjoyed the special attention too !!

Now looking back, the nostalgia is overwhelming .. Hence the book !!
